Director of Finance for one of our Clients

One of our clients, RealSense, an Israeli spin-off of Intel’s pioneering depth-sensing division, helps shape the future of computer vision and AI, by developing advanced 3D imaging technologies that power robotics, biometrics, and spatial computing around the world.

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead our global accounting function and scale our financial operations. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with accounting standards, driving operational excellence, and delivering timely and accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Capital equipment, deep knowledge of US GAAP, and experience leading finance in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

This role is a hybrid work model with required presence in the Haifa office. Additional work can be done from the Petach Tikva office or remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting

• Lead the preparation and timely delivery of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for our U.S. and Israeli entities in accordance with US GAAP.
• Develop and maintain reporting schedules that provide visibility into financial performance.

Accounting Operations

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax.

• Ensure consistent and accurate accounting processes across entities.
• Own product costing and inventory accounting across production and fulfillment

Cash Management

• Manage cash flow and treasury operations, including forecasting and monitoring to ensure sufficient liquidity.
  
  

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Design, implement, and maintain internal controls and policies that ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  
  

Audit & Tax

• Lead external audits and serve as the primary liaison with auditors.
• Ensure compliance with US corporate tax regulations and Israeli tax laws and filing requirement

Sales tax and VAT across multiple jurisdiction

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Partner with the COO to support the development of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  
  

Systems & Automation

• Optimize financial systems (e.g., ERP) to support scale and efficiency.
• Lead initiatives to automate workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance data accuracy.
  
  

Requirements:

• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
• 7+  years of experience, with at least 4 years in a similar leadership role
• Experience with international operations and multi-currency operations
• In-depth knowledge of US-GAAP and financial reporting requirements

• Experience with cost accounting, manufacturing, and multi-channel operations

• Experience implementing/upgrading ERP systems, NetSuite is an advantage
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Fluent in English - verbal and written
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis
• CPA license
• Previous experience working in a startup environment – strong advantage
