AKT is seeking a Head of Corporate Operations with a strong legal foundation to lead and actively operate our headquarters corporate functions. This role will have primary ownership of Legal, Data Privacy, and Governance, leveraging this specialized expertise to drive broader corporate operational leadership.

 

Reporting to the COO, this is a managerial role with significant hands-on  responsibility, and is open for a hybrid mode 3 days a week in our Petah Tikva office in Israel.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Legal, Privacy & Governance (Primary Domain)

  • Own and manage commercial contracts, vendor agreements, and corporate documentation including Professional Services (PSA/MSA), SOW, Data Privacy (DPA), employment agreements, and consulting agreements 
  • Manage contractual data protection and privacy matters, including DPAs, GDPR addenda, SCCs, and customer-specific privacy terms 
  • Advise leadership on regulatory risk, compliance exposure, and governance structures
  • Liaise with external legal counsel when required for specific matters 

 

Corporate Operations Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead and oversee AKT’s HQ and corporate functions, including IT, Informational Systems, Information Security (Infosec), Legal, HR Operations, and related shared services, ensuring effective execution, alignment with business goals, and scalability
  • Serve as the central point of accountability for day-to-day corporate operations, proactively identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
  • Optimize interfaces, and decision-making processes between corporate and delivery organizations

 

Hands-On Functional Ownership

  • Personally own and actively perform core operational responsibilities within Legal and Governance
  • Take direct responsibility for operational execution, decision-making, and problem resolution in these domains - not only oversight or coordination
  • Act as a pragmatic operator who can dive into details while maintaining a broader organizational view

 

Budget, Vendor & Resource Management

  • Own and oversee corporate budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships
  • Drive cost optimization, procurement effectiveness, and smart resource allocation without compromising quality or compliance

 

Process, Governance & Scalability

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve operational processes, policies, and governance frameworks to support growth
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices across jurisdictions

 

Executive Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to the COO and executive leadership team, supporting strategic initiatives, operational planning, and organizational effectiveness

 

  

Job Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor's law degree from a leading academic faculty, and qualification to practice law 
  • 5+ years in a senior operational, legal, or business leadership role, preferably within a global or Professional Services environment.
  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in navigating data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts
  • Proven experience in optimizing business processes, overseeing procurement, and managing corporate budgets to drive organizational efficiency
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a hands-on approach 
  • Proficient Hebrew and English (verbal and written). Other languages an advantage 
  • Proficiency in using operational software (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms, Excel)
