Head of Operations - Israel based

AKT is seeking Head of Operations to lead and oversee HQ units. 

 

Reporting to the COO, this managerial role involves hands-on responsibilities, and is open for a hybrid mode 3 days a week in our Petah Tikva office in Israel.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Management & Operational Oversight – Oversee and manage HQ units: HR, Operation, Legal, IT, IS etc. Ensuring efficient operations and alignment with organizational goals and addressing challenges proactively 
  • Hands-on – Own and take direct responsibility and activity for handling HQ issues of at least one of the IT/IS/legal/HR functions 
  • Cross-units Coordination – Collaborate with various units to optimize workflows, resource allocation, and internal processes 
  • Budget & Resource Management – Oversee budgets, optimize resource utilization, and drive cost-effective operations 
  • Process Improvement – Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness across HQ units 
  • Compliance & Governance – Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices 

  

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) 
  • Proven experience of at least 5 years in an operational leadership role 
  • Hand-on experience in at least one of the following: Legal/HR/IT 
  • Strong understanding of business operations, process optimization, and resource management 
  • Experience in negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and overseeing procurement 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations with a hands-on approach 
  • Proficient Hebrew and English - verbal and written. Other languages an advantage 
  • Proficiency in using operational software (e.g., ERP systems, CRM platforms, Excel)
