Project Management Officer (PMO) - Israel based

AKT is hiring a Seasoned Project Management Officer (PMO), to work in alliance with Project Managers in the delivery of SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects.

 

Reporting to the Project Management Officer Team Lead, this role is open to candidates based in Israel, and is available for either a part-time or a full-time position. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective support to global team Project Managers (PM) and project teams during the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and control project performance and deliverables against time, cost, and quality.
  • Ensure project plans are created and maintained up to date
  • Manage the team open issues via RAID log and proactively follow-up on activities, ensuring required results and deadlines are met and raising red flags as required.
  • Control project budget, track project cost effectiveness, raise red flags to PM as required, work in alliance with PM to execute mitigation plans, report on budget status to management providing insightful and up to date information on the status background.
  • Control resources utilization and assignments ensuring sufficient and fitting resources are booked in advance and reporting on expected future resource plans, aligned with the resource strategy and plan defined by the PM
  • Ensure project is managed in line with AKT project management methodologies and internal procedures.
  • Verify project routines are maintained and proactively coordinate required project activities with internal and external resources as required
  • Lead internal weekly project meetings and present project budget health status to management as required
  • Work closely with excellent cooperation and coordination with the project manager to support the project management activities.
  • Stand-in for project managers with customer-facing activities when required
  • From time to time, manage global spot projects end to end

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as PMO / Project Manager
  • High level of English and Hebrew (verbal and written) – a must
  • Professional presentation and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Strong action management capability
  • Experience working in global companies
  • Professional ability in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, MS-Project, Word, PPT)
  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field – an advantage
  • Familiarity working with information systems - an advantage
