AKT is seeking an SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Team Lead to oversee the delivery of end-to-end payroll implementations for our global client. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational success of the payroll workstream. A professional who is technically strong in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and is passionate about managing people and operational excellence.
This is a full-time position, working hybrid mode and open to candidates located in Kolkata, India.
Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Leadership: Oversee the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of ECP projects, ensuring alignment with SAP Activate and Agile methodologies from initial blueprint through hypercare

Strategic Solutioning: Act as the primary payroll subject-matter expert, translating complex global business requirements into scalable ECP design specifications and configuration workbooks

Integration Management: Guide the design and implementation of Point-to-Point (P2P) replication and BIB strategies, ensuring seamless data flow between Employee Central, Time, and Finance workstreams

Performance Tracking: Establishing and monitoring KPIs to ensure the support team is meeting its goals and delivering value to our clients

Team Mentorship: Holding daily one-on-one meetings with team members to review open tickets, consult on complex technical challenges, and suggest solutions

Client Relationship Management: Serve as the trusted advisor for executive-level stakeholders, managing expectations, resolving complex variances in parallel runs, and driving project success
Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP Payroll experience (SAP HCM Payroll and/or Employee Central Payroll), in implementation, support and enhancement management

Certified in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll

A proven track record in team management, strong leadership with the ability to coach, motivate and develop already experienced technical consultants

The ability to explain technical issues simply to clients and provide clear, actionable feedback to the team, as well as manage escalations effectively

Ability to work in EMEA timezone
